Klenty is one of the best cold email automation tools for anyone looking for advanced software that does it all. They offer great integrations, a focus on deliverability, and advanced features that'll make your life easier.

Combined with Lyne, you're pretty much guaranteed a pipeline filled to the brim with hot leads. In this article we'll show you exactly how to:

  • Personalize cold emails without the hard work

  • Set up your Klenty account for advanced personalization

  • Import your new data into Klenty in 3 easy steps

Let's get started.

Step 1 - Personalizing your prospect data

If you're new to Lyne: our platform creates personalized snippets (or "icebreakers") for you to use as {{merge_tags}} in your cold emails. Many of you are currently writing these manually, which is a huge time suck.

Here's how it works:

Choose your settings

All you'll need to do is upload a CSV with prospect data to Lyne. Next, tell us which sources to use for personalization. We're able to find almost any online activity of your prospects online and use artificial intelligence to write output based on that.

For more information on all available sources have a look at this article

Map your fields

Next, simply tell us which type of data is under which columns, and start your scan. We're able to process around 1000 prospects per hour so feel free to close your tab and come back later.

Download your results

You can now download a .CSV file with personalized snippets to use in your cold emails.

We'll save this file for the next step.

Step 2 - Setting up your Klenty account

Inside Klenty you'll need to set up your custom fields so that Lyne can sync those to your account. All of these custom fields you can use in your cold emails.

Head over to settings > prospects > custom fields and set up all of the fields listed below.

  • Subject_lyne

  • Lyne

  • PS_1 - PS_9 (PS_1, PS_2, PS_3, ...)

  • Intro_1 - Intro_9 (Intro_1, Intro_2, Intro_3, ...)

Your results should look like so:

If you haven't done so already, connect your Google Sheets account under "integrations".

Step 3 - Importing your prospects

The final step in your process is to import your new prospects into Klenty. You can either use the Google Sheets integration (explained below), or upload the .CSV you've downloaded from your Lyne dashboard.

Upload the Lyne CSV to your Google Drive an open it.

Next, in your Klenty dashboard, head over to the Google Sheets integration and create a new Sheet.

Click on the Sheet you've created, which will open in a new tab. Now, simply copy/paste the data from your CSV file into this Sheet and head back to Klenty.

Behind the new Sheet you've created, click "Import" and map all the columns you need in Klenty, including the custom columns you've created in the previous step.

Now, going forward, you can use this Google Sheet as a "master file" and copy/paste any new Lyne data into the file. Then simply click "Import new rows" in Klenty to import the latest data.

Sending personalized emails

All that's left to do now is to set up your cadences with your new personalization data and watch your warm reply rates skyrocket.
