This article explains how to use Lyne's personalized AI first lines in your email campaigns.

Step 1: Download your list from

When your list finishes running, click "Download" to download the list as a CSV.

After you download the list, you can also review the lynes and swap them out with their corresponding backup lynes as needed.

Step 2: Create Custom Fields in

The first thing you'll want to do is create Custom Fields in Apollo, so that you can use our data in merge tags the same way you would for {first_name} or {company_name}, etc.

You can do this by going to Settings > Accounts > Custom Fields and clicking New Field for each one, as pictured below:

Step 3: Import Your Data from into

On the left-hand menu, click the magnifying glass and select "People"

Then, on the right hand side, click Import and then "Bulk Import from CSV."

Then, when you import your CSV from Lyne, make sure you map the fields from the CSV to your new custom fields in Apollo, as pictured below:

After mapping all your fields, you may want to these contacts to a New List, so you can then easily add all the prospects in that list only to your sequence.

Step 4: Plug your Lynes into a Sequence

Now, when you create a sequence, you will be able to plug in your {{lyne}} as you would with any other merge tag, as pictured below:

Step 5: Enjoy the Results 😎

Now comes the real work: turning your increased replies into new business. Here's a small A/B test we ran in Apollo, one campaign with Lyne and the other without:
